The Wisconsin Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment at its meetings and conferences. Persons who attend Chapter meetings and conferences are expected to comply with this Meetings Code of Conduct. Expected Behavior: All attendees are expected to behave in a professional manner and treat other attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and Chapter staff with respect.
Unacceptable Behavior: Inappropriate behavior at Chapter meetings and conferences will not be tolerated. Inappropriate behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Offensive jokes, slurs, comments, or other communications related to sex, sexual orientation, gender, disability, physical appearance, race, national origin, or religion
  • Inappropriate use of sexual language or profanity
  • Harassment or intimidation of any person
  • Unwelcome touching, grabbing, or pinching
  • Rude or boorish behavior
  • Intoxication/excessive alcohol consumption
  • Disruption of presentations or other events

Violation of this Meetings Code of Conduct may result in being asked to leave the meeting or conference and being barred from attending future Chapter events. The Board of Directors Executive Committee is authorized to enforce this Meetings Code of Conduct.
